Electro-Voice sound for Saddleback Worship Conference

The festival—held at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California—is focused upon the development of skills and creativity in the field of worship, with a wide range of church leaders, professionals, and musicians leading over 100 workshops. A host of big names from Christian music performed and presented clinics at the conference, including Kirk Franklin, Delirious, and Meredith Andrews.

 

Gates Sound, with the support of Quantum Sales & Technology, deployed a sound system built around Electro-Voice XLD281 line arrays for the event, powered by EV TG amplifiers, and processed via EV NetMax N8000 network controllers. Electro-Voice N/D767a wired mics and REV wireless mic systems completed the EV picture. Show control for both FOH and Monitor sound was handled on the work surface of the Midas XL8; Doug Gates mixed the mains, Chad Grizwald (Monitor Engineer, KC and the Sunshine Band) mixed monitors.
